Here we go. Everyone's equal in points, and if last year is any indication if you show up and win this week you could still make the 2009 Grand Rocketeer without coming again until January. However you could look at this as just the start of shutting Trav up about being the points leader for last year. Whatever your motivation, Be there or be behind!

Time: 6:00pm (seriously Dan, we're gonna blind absentees out every hand rather than every round (I actually have no authority in the matter, however it would be most considerate to the other players if we could start on time (especially considering that Trav will be eating your fortune cookie before dip break anyway.)))

The Grand Rocketeer Cometh

This year-ending tournament brings together the top 12 point accumulators of 2008 and pits them against one another in a Heads-Up Championship tournament, and for those with the fortitude, a 12 man sit and go to reveal our Grand Rocketeer of 2008.

Date and Time:Saturday January 31st 3:00 PM - Later than 3:00 (probably finished by 10)
Buy-In: $25

Rocketeers in the top 12 have until Jan 25th to respond to the Pontif's email. Those who do not respond will lose their spots to less deserving but better prioritizing players.
